Marottes (pronounced "muh-rowtz") is a spectral jester on the Fool's Journey, crafting haunted synthpop by blending darkwave with ethereal electronica that guides lonely misfits on their path to self-discovery. Driven by analog synths, distorted vocals, and reflective lyrics, his music draws inspiration from gothic art, tarot mysticism, and the forgotten corners of the Great Lakes and Rust Belt. Marottes invites listeners to embrace introspection, transform fear into confidence, and dance unapologetically through the darkness. Marottes is the music project of Mike Mytnick, who returned home to Cleveland, Ohio after a decade of working in TV production in New York and Los Angeles.
